LMI Training
LMI Mentoring Session – S1: ECSA Application
During this session you will be taken through the ECSA application process and what you need to do to register as a Lifting Machinery Inspector (LMI). You will be assisted in identifying any qualification gaps and/or other specific training needs when measured against the outcomes of the LMI Unit Standard (SAQA 58496). Completion of S1 will prepare the candidate to register with ECSA as a LMI.
Duration: 2 days
LMI Mentoring Session - S2: Practical
This session will give you the opportunity to gain practical experience by doing inspections and carrying out performance tests under the supervision of a registered LMI. Completion of S2 will prepare the candidate to register with ECSA as a LMI.
